The Alliance of Water, Wood and Recycled Glass
As you know, wood is in our DNA. But we've long had this growing desire to bring a touch of light, life, and color to it. Naturally, we thought of precious or semi-precious stones.
But very quickly, a problem arose: opacity. Most of the time, it's difficult to know exactly under what conditions these stones are extracted, often on the other side of the world. For us, it was therefore inconceivable to add anything to our creations without being 100% certain of its ethical sourcing. We needed another way.

The inspiration came from pieces of glass found one day by the sea, those fragments naturally polished by the waves that you find on beaches. That's what we wanted! Recycling, gentleness, poetry. But we're in Switzerland, in the heart of the Alps.
So, we set ourselves a slightly crazy challenge: to make this "sea glass" ourselves, but using the flowing water of our rivers. We therefore designed and built our own system, a handcrafted mill powered by the current.
It took us a whole summer of testing, adjustments, prototypes and patience to tame the power of water. And then one day, the result was there: our first matte fragments, with soft and satiny shapes, polished by nature.
Once the technique was perfected, we had to find the raw material. Bringing in glass from far away was out of the question. We wanted to repurpose existing waste.
This is where local sourcing becomes truly meaningful. We have established partnerships with local stakeholders, notably the Stained Glass School in Monthey . Thanks to them, we recover glass scraps of specific and vibrant colors that would otherwise be thrown away.
The race for scarcity is over: for us, true value lies in transformation. Waste becomes a treasure in our hands. Gently carried by the current, raw glass reveals an unexpected, unique, and elegant beauty. This is our way of proving that the art of giving things a second life has far more meaning.
