Wooden dog and cat medal: Swiss craftsmanship
At Wooper, each pet ID tag is made in our workshop in Switzerland. The wood is reclaimed beech from a local carpentry workshop, treated to resist moisture and UV rays, then custom engraved with the information you choose.
No stock, no mass production: when you place your order, we create the tag specifically for your pet. Delivery in 3 to 5 business days in Switzerland, in eco-friendly and recyclable packaging.
Why choose a wooden medal rather than a metal one?
There are several reasons why our customers (and their furry friends) love our medals:
- Silence. A wooden medal doesn't jingle. This is a huge comfort for your pet, who has very sensitive hearing, and for you, who no longer hears the continuous ringing.
- Lightness. An engraved metal medal can weigh up to 15-20 g, ours weighs barely 3-5 g depending on the size.
- The warmth of wood. Wood is soft to the touch, warm, and ages beautifully over time.
- Uniqueness. Each piece is slightly different, as the wood has its own natural grain.
How to personalize your pet's medal
You can engrave both sides of the medal with the text of your choice:
- Front : your pet's name, a symbol, a motif (paw, heart, star, bone...), or a design you upload (logo, drawing, signature)
- Back (+6 CHF): your phone number, an address, a phrase, or any other useful information in case of loss
You can choose the font , the size of the medal (Ø 23, 27 or 33 mm depending on the morphology of your companion), and even add a second number if you want to multiply the chances of return.
What size should I choose for my pet's tag?
Here are our general recommendations, to be adapted according to the template:
- Ø 23 mm → cats, small dogs (Chihuahua, Yorkshire, Jack Russell)
- Ø 27 mm → medium-sized dogs (Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie, Whippet, Beagle)
- Ø 33 mm → large dogs (Australian Shepherd, Labrador, Bernese Mountain Dog, Husky)
