Who is Wooper?
A word from the creators
Hello! We're Damien, Laura, and Joy, and we launched Wooper in 2018 with a simple desire: to create meaningful wooden jewelry and objects. It
all started with an observation made during our travels and hikes: overconsumption and waste leave too many traces on our planet. So we decided we wanted to do things differently: to design unique, locally made, sustainable objects that tell a story.
Before becoming a freelance graphic designer , Damien learned the trade of sheet metal worker in the automotive industry. This precise work instilled in him a love for materials and an eye for detail. A few years later, with the discovery of laser engraving and cutting, this passion returned… and that's where the Wooper adventure truly began.
In 2020, Laura joined the adventure to manage production and orders. With her organizational skills and creative ideas, she quickly became an exceptional partner 🤩. Since then, we haven't looked back!
Today, we're proud to say that we make everything ourselves, in our small workshop in Valais. Each piece is conceived, designed, cut, engraved, and packaged by us. Here, nothing is mass-produced: everything is created on demand, 100% customizable, with heart.
In 2023, Joy came into our lives ❤️ She inspires us every day to keep our childlike spirit and to pass on a simple, joyful craft that respects both humans and nature.

Our values
Wooper is a choice for locally produced, handcrafted, and eco-responsible wooden jewelry inspired by nature and travel.
Our jewelry is made from recycled beech wood sourced from a local carpentry workshop, and the cords are made from recycled PET.
Our inspirations
In our quest for inspiration for new creations, it is often during our adventures in the great outdoors that our ideas come to life.
Design
Once the sketches are complete, we bring the idea to life on the computer, then engrave and cut the first models. This is also the stage at which we create your personalized creations online.
Manufacturing
With the help of our furry friend, we finish with the final touches: sanding, assembly, checking the jewelry, and then we ship it to you!
OUR JEWELRY CREATION PROCESS
Ethical manufacturing & a noble material
With Wooper, we have chosen an ethical production of local, handcrafted and eco-responsible wooden jewelry.
To make our creations, we use Swiss beech wood, recycled plastic, recycled glass and recycled PET cords.
All our pieces are crafted from recycled wood, sourced from a local carpentry workshop in Valais. The good news is, no trees were specifically cut down to create your wooden jewelry.
Please note that our packaging is 100% recyclable , guaranteed to be free of any plastic waste.

Environmental protection in the mountains
For every piece of jewelry purchased, Wooper donates 2 CHF to the Summit Foundation . In practical terms, this is equivalent to cleaning 100m² of mountain terrain.
Summit Foundation is an NGO that has been committed since 2001 to protecting the environment in the mountains and in particular to preventing littering.
Its main activities?
Prevention campaigns in nearly 80 ski resorts in Switzerland and France, spring litter collection actions, and concrete solutions to facilitate waste management.

The local wildlife, so precious to us
No hard feelings: we also love our animal friends and we wanted to support them.
For every animal medal purchased, children's bracelet, key ring or essential oil diffuser, Wooper donates 1 CHF to the Erminea center.
Erminea is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Chavornay. It takes in sick or injured wild animals to provide them with quality care, rehabilitate them, and release them back into their natural environment to contribute to the balance of our precious ecosystem.
You will allow, for example, a hedgehog to enjoy a good meal at the Erminea care center.

Almighty Tree contributes to the sustainable management of forests by offering its tree planting services to individuals and businesses.
Seeking to design a sustainable future and improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of our communities, Almighty Tree focuses on enhancing our wooded heritage, as well as developing our forests and biodiversity in Switzerland, while raising awareness among the population and businesses by bringing them closer to nature.
Since 2020, more than 2000 trees have been planted in Switzerland through the activities of Almighty Tree.
